Pride and Prejudice

It’s all about love and I had seen the movies about this. At that time I didn’t realize very well about the film and now I read the novel and I knew the detail about the story. The novel is talking about a young woman of the late 18th century must deal with the efforts of her matchmaking mother as well as a bachelor who elicits conflicting emotions within her. We may feel strange why they do so but remember how our parents met and most of them were met by matchmaker not by themselves. In 18th century parents will overly worried about running out of money and/or having to support their daughters, Mrs. Bennet is headstrong about getting them married, including Elizabeth who she tries to pressure into marrying Mr. Collins. Mrs. Bennet says she won't talk to Elizabeth again if she refuses. Mr. Bennet says he won't talk to Elizabeth if she agrees, so the matter is settled. Elizabeth did have a good father who cares about her marriage otherwise she has to marry someone she doesn’t like. Although it’s an old fashion love story but it’s worth to read again. To date, the book has sold more than 20 million copies worldwide and made several films in different movies and TV shows. That means people still like to see and read this kind of love story and it’s always popular world wide.

Advantages of Growing up in a Small Town

Thanks Irene to correct my writing.
Growing up in a small town has a lot of advantages. There are some reasons why it’s good to grow up in a small town. First of all, you have friendly neighbors. For example, people who live around you could be friendly and they are just like your relatives. Most of people who live in a small town are having very supportive characteristics, passionate hearts, and willing to help each other. That makes they have a good relationship, so they can help each other all the time. People said “a distant relative is not as good as a near neighbor”. Secondly, the cost of living is low. It is totally lower than the cost of living in the city. What they can do to make the life easier is that sometimes they share or exchange the food they grew, such as vegetables, sweet potatoes and fruits. Thirdly, it’s close to the nature. In the morning, you can hear the birds’ singing and the roosters’ crowing. They wake you up every day. The fresh air will make you spirit bright, so people live in a small town normally get up early. Moreover, small town’s mother will prepare breakfast for the family and they believe the breakfast is the most important meal in a day. There won’t have traffic jam and noise to bother you. You can have a sweet sleep at night. There are so many advantages of growing up in a small town. Why don't you move to the suburbs?

How Do You Protect Yourself by Identity Theft?

Criminals commit identity theft by stealing your personal information. This is often done by taking documents from your garbage or by making contact with you and pretending to be from a legitimate organization.

Identity theft can result in fraud affecting your personal financial circumstances, as well as costing government and financial services millions of pounds a year. If your identity is stolen, you may have difficulty getting loans, credit cards or a mortgage until the matter is sorted out.

There are some tips on next writing.

If You Are the Victim of Identity Fraud

Reporting the problem

If you believe you are a victim of identity fraud which has involved the use of credit and cash cards, or online banking, the matter should be reported by the account holder directly to the financial institution concerned. They will then be responsible for undertaking further verification and investigation, and, as appropriate, reporting cases of criminal activity directly to the police where they will be recorded and subsequent investigation considered.

Where an identity fraud incident has not involved the use of credit cards or online banking then you should report the matter to the relevant organization in the first instance and, dependent on their advice, to your local police station.

You should report all lost or stolen documents i.e. passport, ID and credit cards to the relevant organization.

Identity Theft

What is Identity theft?
Your identity and personal information are valuable. Criminals can find out your personal details and use them to open bank accounts and get credit cards, loans and documents such as passports and ID in your name.

How does it work?
• You may lose or had stolen important documents such as your passport or ID.
• Post expected from your bank has not arrived or you are receiving no post at all.
• Items have appeared on your bank or credit-card statements that you do not recognize.
• You receive bills, invoices or receipts addressed to you for goods or services you haven’t asked for.
• You have received letters from some companies or debt collectors for debts that aren’t yours.
• Banks that you do not normally deal with contact you to chase an outstanding debt.
